Each month during 2020, we have chosen a Person of the Month at Haiti Awake based on popular vote. We ask people why they are voting for a person, as well as who they are voting for.

This month’s Person of the Month is Stanley. Here are some things both staff and other children said about him when they voted:

He is obedient. Everything you ask him to do, he does it without complaining even though it is not his job.
On Saturday, when I am at school, he takes over and cooks.
He always helps me on my duties at home.
He shows signs of changes. Lots of wrong things he used to do, he doesn't do them anymore
He is obedient. He is always ready to help others with what they are doing. Even when others do not want to work around the house, he does it without complaining.

Stanley, we are believing Psalm 138:8 for your life:
“The Lord will work out his plans for my life— for your faithful love, O Lord, endures forever. Don’t abandon me, for you made me.”

We are proud of how you are growing in grace.
