Good morning, Friends,
First, I want to start out by thanking those of you who’ve reached out so kindly since the morning of July 7, offering encouragement in a variety of ways, praying, sharing our burden at Haiti Awake.
Second, I want you to know that, by God’s grace, Haiti Awake has continued with normal operations since July 9, despite the ongoing civil unrest and threats to security. Though there are dangers all around us, we have been able to move freely and without harm.
Third, I would encourage you to tune into Life 90.5 FM this Monday morning. Host Craig Thomas has asked me to come on for their Ministry Focus, starting at 9 a.m., to share an update on Haiti. Craig is great at asking questions that lead to deeper conversation, and each time I’ve been on the show with him I have walked away encouraged by the way he led the discussion to highlight the good things that are transpiring with Haiti Awake.
If you’re not local in Wilmington, you can still listen. Go to Ways to Listen - Life 90.5 (life905.com) to learn more.
Fourth, I want to remind you that Pastor Steeve will be in the US in early August for training, and we hope you’ll come out to Your Pie the evening of August 7 to buy a pizza, shop Mission Made Jewelry, and fellowship with others who support Haiti Awake.

Finally, yesterday was a very special day for us at Haiti Awake, a day we mark with grateful remembrance each year. It was on this day, July 17, 2013, that in God’s providence my life intersected with the lives of the children from Kay Timoun. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=10158610407727635&id=588952634
Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. Ephesians 3:20
