Our proverb for today is ‘’Ou konn kouri ou pa konn kache’’, which literally translate to ‘’You know how to run, but you don’t know how to hide.” This proverb emphasizes that the truth cannot be hidden. No matter how you try hard to hide the truth, in the end everything will come out crystal clear.
In Haiti we say this proverb to let people know that we discovered the truth that they had hidden from us.
