As of August 1st, 2021, Lauren Risedorf has stepped into the position of Sales Director for Mission Made Jewelry.

Lauren is a mother of three girls and wife to her pastor and best friend. She had the privilege to travel to Haiti in January of 2021. Her entire world view changed on that trip.

The staff at Haiti Awake gently showed Lauren the reality of injustice happening in Haiti. She was so moved by what God is doing in and through the staff. Lauren saw Steeve leading his community like Jesus lead his people on this earth. She quickly felt connected to her brothers and sisters in Christ, sharing a commonality to tell others about Jesus in everyday life.

Like Isaiah 1:17, Lauren feels it’s her heart to seek justice, defend and lift up her friends in Haiti.

There was a need to help merge Haiti Awake with Mission Made Jewelry. With her gift set for sales and heart for Haiti, Lauren quickly jumped in to help where she could.

It is her desire with Mission Made Jewelry to help provide sustainable job opportunities to the staff and children aging out of the children’s home in Haiti Awake.
